Grant Fagan, CPA
Born, raised and a lifelong resident of Billings, Grant graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis. He has been in public accounting since 1993, joining the firm in 2004. Grant became a shareholder in 2007.
Grant provides tax preparation, financial reporting and planning services for individuals, partnerships and corporations. In addition to extensive experience with individuals, his service concentrations include small business, construction and real estate activities. Grant is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Montana Society of CPAs.
Grant is married to Maggie, a Great Falls native that has taught elementary education in Billings for more than 25 years. Together they have two children who are active in school, church and community activities. The family shares a love of dogs and cats and can often be seen around their neighborhood being walked by Lily and Kaia.
Brian Cook, CPA
Brian grew up on his family's ranch just east of town. He was actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and the Montana Junior Angus Association. Brian attended Shepherd High School where he participated in numerous sports and graduated as valedictorian of his class.
After high school Brian received a scholarship to play basketball at Montana State University - Billings (MSUB). He graduated from MSUB in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis. Brian has been with the firm since graduation and became a shareholder in 2008.
Brian provides tax preparation, financial reporting and planning services for individuals and small businesses. He has extensive agriculture experience and also specializes in construction activities. Brian is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Montana Society of CPA's.
Brian and his wife Lanette have three children, Brayden, Makenna and Kayli. They enjoy the outdoors and are active in sports, school, and 4-H.
Deana grew up on her family’s ranch southwest of Butte where she was actively involved in 4-H, sports and rodeo. She attended college on rodeo and basketball scholarships and graduated from Montana State University - Billings with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis.
Deana provides tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping and payroll services for individuals and small businesses. She has experience in a broad range of businesses, including in the farm and ranch and oil and gas industries.
Deana and her son Clay tend to her land near Bridger. She spends her spare time keeping her cows, horses and dogs happy. Deana enjoys outdoor activities, breakaway roping and running to keep her sanity.
Meagan was born and raised in Great Falls. She is a Montana State University - Billings graduate holding a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
Meagan has over 10 years of customer service experience, guaranteeing a special focus to our clients and their needs. She provides tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll services for individuals and small businesses. Meagan specializes in farm and ranch accounting.
Meagan moved to Billings in 2018 with her husband Andy and their fur baby Boomer. They have since adopted Boomer's wingman, Maverick. In her free time, Meagan enjoys cooking, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends and family. She is in the process of preparing to sit for the CPA exam.
Rebecca joined Fagan and Cook PC in 2021, bringing extensive public and private bookkeeping and payroll experience. She specializes in assisting local businesses, regardless of size or type, in keeping their books and payroll "cleaned up" and up-to-date. She is the billing administrator for several local private irrigation ditch companies (Big, High, and Canyon Creek ditches).
A Wisconsin native, Rebecca enjoys rooting for the Green Bay Packers. She is a proud shareholder, owning a 1 / 5,000,000 non-profit-participating stake in the team.
Vicki is a Montana native that has enjoyed living in various great cities across Big Sky Country. She grew up in Broadus and Glasgow before attending high school and Montana State University (go Cats!) in Bozeman and finally settling in Billings. Since 1992, Vicki has been a constant figure at the front desk of the various incarnations of the firm. As the "Director of First Impressions" Vicki deals directly with our clients in a multitude of ways and has a history with many stretching back years and years.
Vicki is married to Nick who hails from Falkirk, Scotland and is a craftsman artist / woodworker. They have three adult children, three cats, one dog and five chickens. In her spare time, Vicki enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, taking a sip or two on local craft beers, cheering on the Seattle Seahawks, creating stained glass works of art and road tripping around her favorite state, Montana.
